Shoptet, the largest e-commerce platform in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and part of the team.blue group, is strengthening its position in AI tools for online merchants. The company is acquiring JARABOT, a Czech AI contact center focused on automating customer care. The acquisition aims to give Shoptet merchants an easier way to use artificial intelligence in the day-to-day running of their e-shops, from customer inquiries via email, chat and phone to support for purchase decisions.

JARABOT is a customer care tool built on the idea of deep AI integration. It brings a wide range of channels into a single application, from traditional ones such as phone, email and web chat to modern ones such as social media, WhatsApp and marketplaces. Operators can therefore handle all communication efficiently from one place. AI automation then allows companies to give their customers the best possible service through fast, high-quality answers. JARABOT’s feature portfolio also includes an AI shopping assistant, AI search and an environment for building a knowledge base.
The core of JARABOT’s client base consists of large projects such as heureka!group, 4camping, Knihy Dobrovský, Fabini and Aukro. The platform also serves a number of well-known brands outside e-commerce: fintech company Skip Pay and travel agency Czechsporttravel.cz run an AI assistant, while Czech CRM Raynet and email marketing tool Smartemailing use it for customer support including a knowledge base.
The acquisition follows Shoptet’s long-term strategy of expanding the platform with services that help merchants run a larger part of their business directly from a single ecosystem. As part of the team.blue group, Shoptet can further accelerate the development of tools that make online business more accessible, efficient and scalable. Shoptet currently supports more than 45,000 online stores. By adding JARABOT, Shoptet wants to make AI tools easier to access not only for large e-shops but also for small and medium-sized businesses, for whom this kind of automation has often been technically or financially out of reach.
For merchants, the key benefits will be the ability to automate recurring customer inquiries, speed up support response times, handle seasonal peaks and gain better insight into what customers are dealing with. JARABOT can work with e-shop data, such as order and product information, and hands over requests the AI cannot resolve on its own to operators, together with the context of the entire conversation.
Once the transaction is completed, Shoptet plans to gradually integrate JARABOT into its product ecosystem. The priorities will be simple deployment for Shoptet e-shops, clear onboarding and practical use cases in customer care, sales and operational communication. The company will present details of the product integration, availability and pricing model in the coming months.
